Accountant Position at Southern and East African LodgesA company with lodges throughout Southern and East Africa is looking for an Accountant for their lodges with a BCom Accounting and 2 years’ experience, based in Sandton.Experience required:B Com (Accounting) with 2 years’ experienceProficient with MS Office Packages (Excel)Advanced excel experience required (pivot table, VLOOKUPs)Experience with Panstrat and / or Microsoft Access beneficialKnowledge of Pastel advantagesAnalysis & Problem SolvingPlanning and OrganisationDuties include:Assist the Lodge Bookkeepers and lodge administratorsAssist lodge managers/Director with queriesPrepare and review South African lodge balance sheet reconciliations and process monthly journalsPrepare monthly management accounts for regional business unitsPrepare and assist with quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and high-level forecastsAssist with year-end audit queriesAssist in training of staff from various backgrounds and skill levelsCapex tracking and related functionsLiaison with professional and legal advisors, tax authorities, etc.Able to travel if necessaryTo apply please send CV to apply#J-18808-Ljbffr
