Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for multiple entities within the group. Conduct thorough reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial transactions. Lead tax planning and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to South African tax laws. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices. Provide support during audits and assist with the implementation of advanced accounting systems or software. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support. Must be able to speak Afrikaans. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA) required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting. Advanced proficiency in accounting software Pastel Partner Accounting and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
