Overview Reference SIU23/07/009.1 Salary ZAR817,034 - ZAR1,154,491/annum + Plus, Medical Aid Subsidy Job Location - South Africa -- Gauteng Job Type Permanent Posted 11 October 2023 Closing date 18 Oct 2023 23:59 Main purpose: To manage the planning, execution and reporting on internal audit engagements to provide assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes within the organisation. Minimum qualification and experience: B Degree in Accounting or Internal Auditing or equivalent (NQF 7). Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA) membership. Five years experience in Auditing, of which two years' is at a supervisory/management level. Financial Audit experience will be an added advantage. Experience in the public sector would be advantageous. Key performance areas (Include but not limited to): Operational Planning and Implementation. Internal Audit Planning. Audit Execution Management. Audit Reporting. Stakeholder Relationship Management. Staff Management. Technical skills: Analytical. Communication. Interpersonal. Presentation. Report writing. Conflict management. People management. Planning and organising. Relationship management. Time management. Required knowledge and Behavioural (include but not limited to): Sound knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards, techniques and processes, including public sector auditing processes. Sound knowledge of policies, procedures, regulation and legislation applicable to the Public Sector. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of financial principles. Attention to detail. Deadline driven. Confidentiality. Honesty/Integrity. Results oriented. Customer focused.
