Knight Piésold Southern Africa - Geotechnical Engineer Position Knight Piésold Southern Africa is looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic geotechnical division. Minimum Requirements: Education: An honours degree in Civil Engineering Experience: Minimum 5 years in geotechnical field related to civil infrastructure and mining industry, especially in tailings Skills: Experience in team supervision, coaching of junior engineering staff, professional registration is an advantage Key Responsibilities: Project supervision and management Coordination of deliverables Review of technical design and reporting Capacity to review in-situ and laboratory test interpretation, perform design analysis using industry-known software packages Familiar with advanced soil mechanics knowledge and modelling (critical state soil mechanics, FEM modelling, advanced laboratory testing) Good English redaction skills required, experience in redaction of technical reports, feasibility studies, etc. If you possess the above requirements and are looking to work with an exceptional technical team, please send your detailed CV and motivation letter to our Talent Acquisition Specialist, Odessa Chinasamy, at recruit@knightpiesold.com by 17th June 2024.
