Experience the culture of outperformance, engagement, celebration and also contribute to society through our WNS Cares Foundation, where you have the opportunity to support meaningful initiatives and make an impact in the community.Job DescriptionOperations team Productivity:Implementation of the productivity tracker across all teamsProductivity increase resulting in FTE reductionCapacity utilizationTeam Quality transitionSmooth transition of payroll for any new business/process in conjunction with the clients of WNSWell Managed – Operational EffectivenessAutomating reports/development of templates and detailed analysis of requirements to the clientsStreamlined in house metrics reporting without delays to clientsClient STD and Ad hoc reports sent without delaysInnovation of reports contributing to client delightPayroll activities followed as per calendarWell managed – operations excellence• SOP and processes to be documented, signed of and implemented BI annuallyConduct daily agile meetings and a monthly team meetingMonthly payroll run – knowledge and complete understanding off all transactions, files, reports, system impact.Be able to trouble shoot, amend and align to ensure a balanced completed payroll per timelines, monthly.Client engagement• One on one to be held with all reports once a month – people managementClient complaints/errorsMonthly MBR and finance reportingPayrollIRP 5 – testing, submissions, reconciliations, queries, amendments, and knowledge and understanding of SARS BRSMonthly payroll run – full knowledge and understanding off the processSAP system testing,Annual increments – calculations, package structuring, uploadsPayroll Products and servicesHave knowledge and be able to execute:IRP 5 – testing, submissions, reconciliations, queries, amendments, and knowledge and understanding of SARS BRSMaster data validations • Monthly payroll run – full knowledge and understanding off the processSAP system testing,Annual increments – calculations, package structuring, uploadsBulk uploads and reconciliations - TOMS, EUD, Petrol 80/20, exits, shares, performance pay, incentives and off cycle paymentsSeverance pay calculations and uploads• Retirement gifts, leave cash outDaily cash flow and off cycle paymentsSalary recalls and credit reconciliationsUIF – reconciliation and declaration submissionsPension fund – handle queries, option calculations and tax benefit calculationsPayslips – query handling and knowledge of all items reflecting on the payslip. Progressive totals and payroll resultsProvident fund – reconciliationInterfaces – External/Internal upload compile and reconciliationSalary calculations – manual and previous year calculationsEmergency loans/ Staff debt – create, clear and documentation resolutionMedical – payment submissions, monthly in-service audit report, yearly special dependent audit, annual option changes and contribution incrementsQualificationsRelevant Degree in HR/Payroll/Finance or equal qualificationMatric/ Grade 12 CertificateSAP working experience of at least 3 yearsFinancial working experienceTeam managementIRP 5 preparation and submission knowledgeLegislation and tax knowledgePayroll execution knowledge on SAP PreferredMicrosoft (word, excel, power point, outlook working knowledge)Team playJob-Related Knowledge,SAP working knowledge.
