Job Description:Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to join their team, based in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems for clients. You will also be responsible for managing a team of HVAC Technicians and ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Minimum Requirements:Refrigeration Trade Test - Red Seal or NQF 6 AirconditioningMatricDriver's License3-5 years as HVAC Technician / SupervisorStrong technical knowledgeFamiliar with all systems and different productsDuties:Maintenance ManagementOversees all HVAC installations and maintenance throughout the portfolioSupervision of internal and external teamsAssisting the team with on-site fault findingPreparing maintenance schedules (PPM) and registers of all assetsLiaising with tenants on break downsCompleting adjudication costs for approvalAbility to work with the appointed engineerComplete small designs, with the use of different systems – also, to be able to spec the correct systems and devices with accurate calculationsTraveling to each building within the portfolio, completing assessments and reports on the systemsEnsure the service providers Service Level Agreements are managed according to the terms and conditions that were agreed onCustomer Service ManagementLiaise with tenants and resolve building maintenance queries timeouslyGeneral management of tenant-landlord relationshipsBuild a good relationship with contractorsRisk ManagementEnsures compliance with relevant ActsControls, manages, and governs the processes and systems within the area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimize business riskSelf-developmentIdentifies training/development needs and pro-actively selects effective solutions to address development gapsEnsures that a personal development plan is developed and implementedStaff managementResponsible for the implementation and review of individual role profiles within his/her teamsIf you wish to apply for this position, please email your CV + supporting documentation to terri@staffunlimited.co.za.
