Set to open its doors inSeptember 2024. We are looking for an outstanding Kitchen Assistant/Catering Assistantwho's passionate about food and wants to make a difference. You'll be working full time 40 hours a week (8am - 7pm across 7 days) at Cygnet Kenney House, creating an excellent experience for the people in our care. Developed in collaboration with the NHS to with the aim to support women from the North West to be treated closer to home. There will be three wards at Cygnet Kenney House; The PICU and Acute environments will offer rapid access to care, supporting women to move quickly and safely through to the most appropriate and least restrictive setting. The mental health rehabilitation and recovery ward(level 2)will support individuals moving on from the Acute ward, as well as external referrals from other services such as secure, CAMHS, prison services and more. Assist in the preparation of balanced, appetising meals Perform cooking tasks & other kitchen duties Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas & dining room Wash utensils, dishes & make sure they are stored appropriately Rotate stock & put away all deliveries Maintain personal hygiene to comply with Cygnet standards and food hygiene regulations Handle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations Why Cygnet?
