Engineering Change Coordinator

Job Description: Receive, review, and process ECRs from internal and external customers and/or suppliers. Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, material planning, and quality assurance teams to assess the impact of proposed changes. Track the status of ECRs and ensure timely implementation. Maintain accurate records of all engineering changes, including drawings, specifications, and other related change documents. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Liaison between suppliers, customers, and various departments to facilitate change management. Communicate changes effectively to ensure all team members are informed and aligned. Identify opportunities to improve the engineering change process. Implement best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures. Ensure all engineering changes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Champion change management audits and reviews. Maintain relationship with internal and external customers to ensure engineering changes alignment with the company's Change Management Policies and Procedures including customer authorization/approval processes. Coordinate as required with various departments to ensure, risk analysis and mitigation, PPAP/PSW requirements, zero obsolescence and seamless execution of all engineering changes. Job Requirements: National Diploma/BTech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. 3-5 years experience in an engineering department within the automotive industry Computer Literacy (Excel, Word&PowerPoint essential) Intermediate Skill level Problem Solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in an automated manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using engineering change management software and tools. Innovative Ideas and Planning Appropriate Judgment and Decision Making Prioritization of tasks Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and IATF 16949 standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
