Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Head Office in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Store Project Assistant to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be to provide administrative support to the project management team. Minimum Requirements: Essential: Matric or equivalent Senior Certificate Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in project administration or related field Advantage: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or project management Job Specification: Administrative Support: Maintain the flow of project-related information. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, both physical and digital. Coordinate with project team members and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project execution. Assist with planning and coordination of scheduling project meetings, taking and issuing project meeting minutes. Assist in the daily administration of the project office. Assist in managing project finances, compile and issue purchase orders. Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, cost reports, and project closure documents. Update project management software and tools with project data, including schedules and meeting minutes. Document and track project changes, decisions, and actions. General: Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures. Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations. Competencies: Essential: Administrative skills, with experience in data management, scheduling, and financial administration. Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions. Ability to have a clear vision about what needs to be achieved and to understand and analyze the current position and resources required to execute. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Able to produce high-quality deliverables within time constraints. Proactive, resolves problems and queries independently. Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Project Management Software, and Tools. Special Conditions of Employment: South African citizen.
