N Relocation? N Position Type Non-Management POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for supporting the RMRS Organisation with administrative tasks. SCOPE This role provides administrative support to the RMRS team . EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for supporting the Senior RMRS Revenue Manager, RMRS SSA in maintaining the cost recoverable model of the department, ensuring P&L is balanced at year end. Responsible for delivery of all admin tasks related to hotel onboarding and contracting, including provision of initial proposal templates, through to tracking of legal agreements. Responsible for ensuring RMRS SSA portfolio details are updated within the relevant MI systems monthly. Responsible for monthly RMRS SSA billing process, ensuring all billing is submitted in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for reconciliation of expenses for the entire RMRS SSA team, maintaining a monthly report out to the Senior RMRS Revenue Manager. Responsible for maintaining accurate P&L projections for the upcoming 24-month period, again reporting out to the Senior RMRS Revenue Manager monthly. Responsible for maintaining the generic Systems Inbox, allocating tasks according to available resources. Responsible for generation&communication of monthly portfolio reporting – such as promotion uptake and performance, key segmentation drivers, RevPAR performance and Rate Parity status. Responsible for task management as and when required – such a facilitating training rollout or ensuring system deployment tasks are clearly outlined and accessible to the team members. Responsible for supporting the Senior Revenue Managers in ensuring that inventory coverage is always provided for all contracted hotels, including across holiday dates and training commitments. Responsible for diary management for the Senior RMRS Revenue Manager, ensuring hotel onboarding, introductory associate meetings, travel dates and team holiday dates are accurate and well planned. Coordinates all travel and hotel accommodation arrangements. Responsible for all team meetings, social events, training, and subsequent invoicing / associate relations planning. Responsible for supporting the Senior RMRS Revenue Manager, RMRS SSA, in targeting new properties to bring into RMRS SSA and thus ensuring the continual growth of the team. Performs basic tasks: organisation, analysis, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, research, report generation and diary management. Responds to, solves, and makes decisions on standard/routine business requests with limited risk. Responsible for own work, with limited supervision, and contributing to team, department and/or business results. Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by: Utilizing technical knowledge and skills to enhance team processes; Establishing priorities for self, and where appropriate, others; Allocating own time effectively to meet goals in a manner that does not disadvantage other associates or groups. Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge. Responds to various requests for help and information. Acts as a central point of contact in the department. Performs other duties as appropriate to the business. Specific Expected Contributions (including duties and responsibilities) In the absence of the Senior RMRS Revenue Manager, RMRS SSA, remain a key support for the RMRS team, to ensure the continued operational commitments of the team. Always understand and deliver against RMRS SSA deliverables, initiatives, and philosophies. Analyse competitive performance using market share tools and provide timely data for the team to allow them to make recommendations to the hotels. Conduct initial introductory calls with new hotels, alongside the Senior RMRS Revenue Manager, and remain a consistent point of support for GMs and key stakeholders. Prepare content for monthly team meetings and ensure feedback / agenda topics are solicited in a timely manner for those. Perform ad-hoc tasks and analysis as directed by Senior RMRS Revenue Manager, RMRS SSA. CANDIDATE PROFILE EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE Matric or equivalent experience SKILLS&KNOWLEDGE Possesses ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Previous experience with administrative tasks would be useful however is not essential. Possess excellent knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Possesses strong deductive reasoning as well as attention to details and follows through to conclusion. Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Possesses strong organisational skills in tasks management and can work independently in a multi-task environment. Is customer focused and enjoys problem solving and can make sound decisions with minimal supervision. Demonstrates ability to influence change and decisions.
