Job Description: The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape Government The Department of Economic Development and Tourism has an opportunity for a competent individual to join the Green Economy Chief Directorate to support work in resource resilience with respect to water, energy and other green economy sectors and co-ordination. This support will be provided through assisting to unlock systemic, regulatory and technical challenges [ads1] Job Responsibilities: Management of the human resources of the Directorate. Project Manage the Directorate’s projects and programmes aligned to the overall strategy framework; Support the planning of the Chief Directorate’s budget and manage income and expenditure, through responsible implementation of policies, practices, and decisions to achieve unit objectives effectively and efficiently; Support the strategic processes and decision-making of the Chief Directorate including research and data management as required’; Co-ordinate stakeholders as relevant to the development and implementation of projects and programmes within the and Directorate; Job Requirements: An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification); A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Administration and/or project management.
