Reporting to:Accounts Payable Team LeaderOverall Purpose of the job:ADT South Africa requires a proactive, experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic team. Previous experience in processing invoices and reconciling accounts is essential for success in this role.Knowledge of AP Sub Contractors and VendorsMinimum qualifications and experience:Minimum Matric CertificateDegree preferably or studying towardsAt least 3 years of Creditors experience and full knowledge of creditors processes andreconciliations are essentialSound working knowledge of the SAP systemProficiency in MS Word and Advanced Excel is essential (Pivot Tables)Numerical accuracy and high methodical working methods are requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to liaise professionally with creditors and personnel at all levelsAbility to work without supervision, under pressure and meet strict deadlinesMain duties & Responsibilities:Receiving of invoices and ensuring that the necessary authorisations are obtainedPreparation of invoices and accurate capturing onto SAP before month-end deadlinesEnsuring that monthly statements are received and creditors accounts are reconciled monthlyLiaising with creditors in relation to any queries and ensuring that they are resolvedAdministration of creditor accountsPreparation and capturing of creditor paymentsFiling of all relevant documentation timeouslyMaintain Housekeeping file on a weekly basisPreparing of accruals monthlyAd hoc tasks as and when required by ManagementMaintaining GRIR and Open PO Reports on a daily basisPersonality attributes:Highly motivated and enthusiasticAccuracyEfficiencyTeam playerAlertnessPunctualityGood interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesCore competencies:Excellent communication skillsAble to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAble to follow instructions accurately and efficientlyWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
