Job DescriptionYou will be expected to perform the following functions:Monitor, control shipments from supplier consigneePlan freight movement of imported cargoEnsure clear communication between customers, agents, and service providersCoordinate the freight movement and customs clearanceCost freight movement and prepare estimates, arrange insurance cover, and process claimsProcess administration related to the shipment fileEffect creditors' disbursements and process debtor's invoicesComply with the requirements of the quality management systemMonitor cargo tracing and track& trace all shipments to destinationResponsible for registering and updating of all filesCosting Sheets: ensure debtors files are submitted for invoicingFraming customs compliant import/export entriesEnsure timeous and correct capturing of information, split documentation, and invoiceEnsure booking of Cargo, monitoring loading dates and keep clients update and informedResponsible for all preparation of export documentationExpedite clearance of outbound and inbound shipmentsEnsure that all paperwork is correctly completed and documentedGenerate export documentationComplete registration of export filesProcessing and submission of documentation - export Bills of EntryFraming customs compliant import or export queriesEnsure that all tariff headings are correctly appliedQualificationsMatric/Senior Qualification (NQF4).SkillsMinimum of 3 years' experience within an Import & Export Controller positionExperienced in all Imports and Exports (Air/Ocean/Road) processes from Collection to Invoicing management of complete Client File will be advantageousMinimum of 3 Years' experience in a Freight Forwarding Operational environment (Air & Ocean Freight)Fully computer literate in all MS Office Suite ApplicationsPrevious working experience on Cargo Wise will be advantageousValid Drivers and Own vehicleSalary / PackageR25000- R35000 CTC BenefitsProvident fund, Medical Aid.#J-18808-Ljbffr
