Your responsibility will include but is not limited to:Cashbook reconciliation of the main account, this will include salaries, wages, project accounts, and ensuring all bank transactions are reconciled daily for the previous working dayLoad cashbook beneficiaries and payments on the accounting software to extract payment files to be imported into the banking systemProcess customer invoicing, debit notes, credit notes, as well as monthly interest charges on overdue accountsDownloading statements after month end and sending them to each customer combined with follow-up emails if balances are outstandingWeekly Follow-up on overdue and outstanding debtors accountsEnsure debtor’s feedback and reconciliation reports are done and submitted timeouslyIssue and replenish petty cash and update the petty cash recon and adjustments to the general ledger for both foreign currency and localArrange foreign exchange for personnel travelling internationally for work done abroadBuy and sell foreign funds using spot, swap, foreign, and forward exchange orders. Update and maintain Foreign and Local Cash accounts and ensure customer payments are receivedProcess Foreign payments and receipts in accordance with import and export policies with an understandingConfirm settlements of Inflows of funds via emailMaintain manual and electronic filing systems of debtor’s administration for invoices, recons, statements etcProcess new customer credit applications, ensuring all accompanying documents are submitted and the information provided is accurate as per the procedureResponsible and ensuring that the shipping documents for foreign invoices are saved in the respective folders with all relevant export documentationEnsuring the export tracking sheet is up to date Skills & Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role Qualification:Diploma  Contact ANNARI STANDER on astander@communicate.co.za, quoting the Ref: CTF018401. Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies. Let us assist you with your career.
