The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and strategic planning across the group.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management and ReportingOversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the group.Ensure timely andaccurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and GAAP.Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.Prepare financial statements for clients.Budgeting and ForecastingLead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities.Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.Manage VAT and corporate income tax compliance for all group entities.Cash Flow ManagementEnsure efficient treasury and payroll operations.Liaise with local accountants and tax agents globally.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).Experience:Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance roles.Experience in a group or multi-entity organisation is preferred.Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial regulatory requirements.Skills and Competencies:Experience writing reports that explain complex technical issues in an understandable manner for less experienced accountants and clients.Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, including Exact Online, Xero, and QuickBooks.Advanced Excel skills will be tested at the interview stage.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.High level of integrity and dependability.The client is based in the Netherlands and will require travel (2 * pa) to the Netherlands#J-18808-Ljbffr
