Overview / Purpose of the job:To execute all analytical and administrative functions in support of the Material Resource Planning function. This includes communication with all component suppliers as well as Supply Chain service providers to ensure all required materials procured through Purchase Orders arrive at the plant on the planned date as indicated by the MRP solutionResponsibilities:Import Customer Demand into ERP (Sypro)Process Customer Demand on EDI portalImport EDI demand into SysproManually upload customer demand for customers that are not on EDIVerify completeness of Customer demand receivedUpdate MRP Excel fileRefresh Stock on Hand (SOH)Refresh DemandCalculate VWSA BacklogInsert VWSA Backlog into MRP demandRefresh Component demand via Bill of Materials (BOM)Refresh PO'sRefresh GRN'sEstablish critical parts - Out of Lead Time (OLT)Place new ordersGenerate new orders as per MRP for all suppliersUpdate and send releases to all suppliersPO managementTrack milestone adherence of all PO'sEngage with suppliers and Forwarder on PO's that missed milestonesMin Requirements:B.Eng / B.Sc / BTech in Industrial-, or Mechanical Engineering ORB.Sc Statistics / Mathematics, ORBCom Logistics / Supply ChainUp to 3 years practical experience in inventory and stock control as a Material Resource PlannerExperience in the automotive industry will be an advantageMS Excel (Advanced)MS OfficeWorking knowledge of SysproCompetencies: (Knowledge, skills and attributes)Excellent People SkillsActive Listening and Good CommunicationComplex Problem Solving AbilityKPI GenerationPresenting SkillsJudgment and Decision MakingAnalytical and Attention to detail#J-18808-Ljbffr
