We show commitment to our staff's success with training and rewarding opportunities.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Circular Economy Assistant Controller, you will report to our Local RSA Financial Controller and collaborate with senior finance managers and our US-Based Finance Director. This role involves managing the accounting functions for our Nigeria and South Africa entities, including our new Marketplace and Software services. You will also assist the RSA Controller and Senior Finance Director in financial analysis and overseeing the financial health of the company.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely end-of-month financial reports.Identify and track key metrics to drive business growth.Ensure reliability and integrity of financial reporting.Conduct proactive analysis to improve financial performance.Manage specific projects within the department, including business strategy and financial controls.Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.Support junior staff on policies and procedures.Qualifications and Experience:BCom financial degree or relevant.Registered Professional Accountant (SA) is advantageous.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.Experience with Qliksense is advantageous.At least 5 years of experience in accounting, business finance and/or analysis.Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience.Experience traveling throughout the African market and willingness to travel to Nigeria for periods of up to 1 month at a timeAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Familiarity with IFRS standards.Is this position for you?Are you organized and schedule-oriented?Do you enjoy solving complex problems and ensuring accuracy?Are you excited about working in a remote, global team?Are you a fast learner who thrives on new challenges?Do you have experience leading accounting staff and meeting deadlines?Are you passionate about technology, sustainability, and the circular economy?Do you have strong analytical skills and enjoy financial modeling?#J-18808-Ljbffr
