An established logistics and freight giant is looking to add a Disbursement Financial Controller to their team based in Johannesburg East. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of internal control in the disbursements management process.Other duties include, but are not limited to:Ensure completeness of accounting postings, payments and the integrity of group disbursement dataMonitor and ensure completeness of all disbursement activitiesTrack and monitor implementation of disbursement function related audit recommendationsLead and coordinate training of disbursement personnelServe as focal point to ensure the smooth running of disbursement practices regionallyEnsure quality and consistency of disbursement reportsProvide analytical and data management support group disbursementPrepare and monitor monthly KPIsCluster review provisionsPrevent errors by setting up internal control systems and adopting proper policies for financial reportingMonth-end reportingEducation:BCom degree in Accounting or FinanceJob Experience & Skills Required:Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles3 to 4 years' experience within a controlling finance roleExperience in disbursement audit requiredStrong accounting and computer literacyStrong Advanced Excel skillsAttention to detailEffective communication skillsOrganizational skillsTeam playerDeadline drivenEffectively works under pressureAPPLY NOW!If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
