Hire Resolve’s client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a General Engineering Supervisor to join their team in Kuruman, Northern Cape. Responsibilities: Contribute to team performance Participate in change initiatives and provide feedback on resistance Comply with disciplinary and behavioral rules and procedures Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data File documents per procedure Know and exercise the basic principles of safety and mining Comply with safety, health and environmental standards Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in work area Participate in safety meetings Take care of your own safety and the safety of fellow employees Comply with Quality standards and deliver in a manner that support and meet operational quality standards Contribute to team performance Participate in change initiatives and provide feedback on resistance Propose ideas or practical improvements relevant to tasks Participate in improvement initiatives Participate in planning process for section Execute plans within standard Oversee the schedule for planned maintenance Ensure maintenance and operational management of plant and machinery Oversee the coordination of orders with regards to any breakdowns or maintenance reported and processed Participate and manage mine projects with regards to Engineering Ensure projects are executed within budget and time frames Comply with work rules, standards and methods.
