Financial Controller, Olifantsfontein (with 3 month probation) 2024-05-27 - 2024-06-26 Permanent EL002745 Finance We are seeking a Financial Controller for a permanent role (with 3-month probation) based in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with B. Degree in Accounting / Finance and 3+ years related experience 4 years industry experience with a good costing background Able to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves, variances&stock holding Knowledge of import analysis&product costing Knowledge of GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards Good verbal / written ability as well as MS Office (Excel) experience Knowledge of Sage 300&BPM preferred Code 8 license with own vehicle 3-month probation period with benefits thereafter The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Maintain good financial control, cost analysis and sales analysis Manage accounts receivable and staff Ensure the daily department activities are coordinated Prepare journal entries and do cost reporting Coordinate with IT department Ensure compliance with all legislation and analyze cost accounting data Testing internal controls and converting data Review / analyse inventory and margin reports Support for audit&tax schedules Ensure timely submission of schedules to management Highlight problematic customers to Exco Prepare / complete monthly accounts receivable reports Attend meetings Attend monthly BCM consultation meetings Calculate sales commissions Salary: R35 000.00 – R40 000.00 pm (experience dependent), R6500.00 car allowance and fuel card Medical&Provident after successful completion of probation period To apply email detailed CV and all supporting documentation through to janine@sheldon.co.za If you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful #J-18808-Ljbffr
