Job Overview: Is responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Additionally, you will manage time and attendance systems to track employee work hours and leave, providing essential data for payroll calculation and reporting. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12/ Matric 2 + years’ experience in cost and management accounting role, preferably in manufacturing environment Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Exce l ; experience with ERP systems is preferred Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirement Main Responsibilities: Collect and review timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents for accuracy and completeness Process wages, salaries, deductions, and overtime payments Process payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner Ensure compliance with payroll regulations Address any payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Oversee the timekeeping system Train employees on how to use time and attendance systems effectively Monitor attendance patterns and identify any trends or issues that may arise Generate payroll reports for management review and analysis Prepare reports on labour costs, overtime expenses, and other relevant metrics Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and timekeeping inquiries Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
