Role Purpose/Business Unit: To assist the Legal Compliance Reviews and ISO Audits function in ensuring that Vodacom Group and its subsidiary companies maintains ISO certifications and adhere to prescribed policies, procedures, and processes. Audits are performed to ensure effective and efficient controls, systems and processes are in place that manage risks and opportunities while continuously improving processes. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting audits efficiently and effectively in accordance with the audit and review schedule and to identify and report on significant control weaknesses within the Company. This includes audit and review planning, preparation, execution, and reporting. Identifying good business practice across Vodacom, Vodacom subsidiaries, and International African Companies. Identifying, recommending, and implementing operational improvements to processes. Conducting audit and review findings follow-up and closing out of audit actions with all levels of management in the organization. Monthly and quarterly operational reporting. Staying up to date with developments on ISO standards and keeping abreast of new standards as well as changes to existing standards. Preparation of reports to various audit, risk, and compliance committees. Undertaking special projects as required. Travel into Africa is a requirement of this role. The ideal candidate for this role will have: Minimum of 5 years in auditing various ISO standards. Data analytics (Advantageous) Telecommunication experience (Advantageous) Matric or SAQA accredited equivalent qualification (Essential) Audit and/or tertiary qualification required (NQF 7 equivalent) (Essential) Data Analytics qualification/experience (Advantageous) SAATCA Auditor Registration (Advantageous) Job Knowledge: Auditing of various ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, 22301 etc.). Experience in the certification process to maintain ISO standards. Detailed knowledge of the South African Legislative Framework pertaining to health, safety and environmental law. General governance knowledge and King IV Code of Corporate Governance familiarity. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A history of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long-term risks and implications. .
