Floor Manager position available in Johannesburg. Floor managers oversee and train staff as well as ensure that stock is ordered, priced and packed. This person should be organised to supervise all floor activity including assisting customers, monitoring staff, and managing inventory. The Floor Manager is responsible for ensuring that all floor requirements are met. To be successful as a floor manager you should have excellent interpersonal skills and be highly organised. You must be able to delegate duties to staff members while making sure that the staff is trained for their assigned roles. Duties and Responsibilities: Scanning of all meter numbers Do key change tokens Test if meter is converted, use test tokens Count units and confirm the order details Label stock KUA: upload forms, and follow through Manage and update licenses Provide technical support to clients Manage certification applications for all meters Oversee inventory (tracking and recording) Assist customers with any queries or requests Ensure prompt resolution of clients’ enquiries Check inventories and report inadequate supplies Develop new procedures or adapt current procedures to maintain customer satisfaction, and manage disputes from customers and employees Address concerns immediately as they arise Process customer requests/orders Monitoring the company stock (eg, meters, CIUs) Ensure production runs smoothly Manage and oversee equipment, ensuring that it is in working order, kept clean and neat, including regular maintenance and services Dispatching clients’ orders Staff Management: Supervising, managing, and training employees on the team General supervision of staff Train staff to perform allocated roles Distribute tasks to staff Monitor employees’ performance Daily “Job Card” allocation to staff Skills Required: Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Excellent organisational skills Good communication skills Attention to detail Must be adept at handling concerns Time management skills – be able to manage your time and delivery of stock, ensuring to meet deadlines ADDITIONAL: It is important that the person has a valid driver’s licence and their own transport, or reliable transport to be able to get to work. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 07:00-16:00. There will however be times when you will need to work beyond these hours in order to meet deadlines, or receive a delivery, or dispatch items. #J-18808-Ljbffr
