Job Description:To ensure that valid claims are paid correctly and on time as well as efficient and effective management of the claims department. Ensuring that controls and procedures are in place to deliver on our service levels at all times.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Effective business relationship management with key clients such as brokers, administrators, etc.Making sure that claims are dealt with according to financial services industry regulations and policy terms and conditions.Promote the principles and practices to ensure the achievement of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) outcomes.Working on complex or fraudulent cases that need experience and specialist knowledge.Managing and coaching your team (efficient management of the department’s performance & ensuring that staff is available at all times).To manage claims processes and procedures.Ensure continuous improvement in all areas in the department to ensure efficient administrationDrive and manage the implementation of TCF principles and practices within the department.Ensure that controls to eliminate fraud are in place at all times.Promote the wellbeing of the claims department (individually and collectively).Proactive management of the claims department to ensure that claims are paid correctly and on time to meet the agreed upon service levels.Taking responsibility for the department’s productivity.Job Requirements:System and product knowledgeGood understanding of Treating Customers Fairly principles and practices.3 year administrative diploma/degree in insuranceExtensive knowledge and experience in the long-term insurance / financial services administration industry5 – 10 years’ experience as a Manager in the long-term insurance claims environmentAbility to communicate in one or more Africa languages will be an advantage.Process management and standards alignmentProven people management experience in a larger corporate client centric environment with the ability to manage performance, identify training gaps and implement measures to enhance quality levels.Grade 12Computer Literacy (MS Office package)Job Details:Company: SanlamVacancy Type:Full TimeJob Location: SandtonApplication Deadline: N/A(ads2)Apply Hereinstantcareers.net#J-18808-Ljbffr
