Requirements:3 - 5 years experience as a Manager of Manager is requiredDrivers License and own car - Able to travel within division and other provincesCommunication / Interpersonal skills: Communicates clearly, persuasively and is successful in influencing othersNegotiating & strategic thinking abilitiesAnalytical and Quantitative skills as a key driver for resultsFlexible and able to work shifts, which include night work, weekends and public holidaysLeads by setting a personal example of excellenceData interpretation and analytical skills coupled with a high level computer literacy and skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and with the aptitude to learn and understand new computer interventions quickly, united, with the ability to summarise large amounts of diverse data into actionable informationAccuracy, with good written and verbal presentation skills combined with above average negotiation and analytical ability, rounded off with the capacity to communicate with senior client ManagementAbility to effectively organise and prioritise multiple projects and associated tasks, while delivering on time and within budgetSustained levels of leadership capabilities with the ability to operate efficiently in the Manager of Managers passageThe main purpose of this position:The role of Regional Manager is to lead, manage and equip the Area Supervisors within the Region, to implement and achieve specific Operational objectives in line with the client's Operational Strategy, within the defined geographyThe Regional Manager will do so by utilising resources effectively and efficientlyDuties & Responsibilities:Business Results:Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume, quality including product freshness are achieved for the RegionCoordinate implementation of brand programmes in the Region, quickly reacting against competitive threats if necessaryEnsure all in store execution targets within Region complies with the Operational StrategyEnsure the implementation of the communication plan within the Region and is in line with cycle execution guidelinesEnsure the implementation of retail planogramming and merchandising coverage within Operational StrategyEnsure that all outlets are compliant with client and their clients International Marketing Standards and all Corporate GuidelinesLeadership Results:Strategic:Manage, inform, develop and motivate the Area Supervisors in order to deliver operational activities that are superior to the competition in respect of both core and added value servicesWork closely to and adapt operational programmes developed by the Business Development department to the RegionPropose goals and KPIs for the programmes implemented in the Region and track ongoing resultsEnsure that Area Supervisors are well-trained and aligned with client and their client's International Marketing Standards and all Corporate GuidelinesPeople:Improve all identified development areas, by achieving the signed off development plan with the National Operations Manager and Head of CommercialEnsure that at all times leadership is provided to Area Supervisors by setting an example of excellenceEnsure that the Area Supervisors implement all team briefing in line with the communication planning processEnsure that the Area Supervisors are well trained on client/their clients systems, processes and proceduresEnsuring effective performance management and ongoing development through the achievement of infield targetsManagement Results:Develop and Implement Regional Operational Plan in line with the Operational StrategyDevelop and implement an operational coverage plan for the RegionConsolidate data gathered by the Regional team to ensure that the National Operations Manager is fully informed at all timesEnsure that all Area Supervisors apply internal control procedures in relation to the identification and resolution of cash and stock shortage discrepancies on a daily basisManage budget for operational programmes for the RegionManage the productivity & cost optimisation of the Regional through the achievement of productivity targetsImplement and manage defined governance model in respect of:Planning and Execution (Monthly Regional Meetings and Cycle Planning Meetings) Committees (Market, SOP, HR) Regional Management ModelRelationship Results:Internal:Work closely with National Operations Manager and Compliance Manager to ensure the efficient deployment of sales targetsWork closely with D2C with regards to stock takesWork closely with Deployment Merchandising Co-ordinatorExternal:Build and maintain relations with mall management within the region, as identified in conjunction with the National Operations ManagerInnovation Results:Gather/ generate innovative ideas for enhancing operational programmes and develop solutions in overcoming obstacles to meeting all Regional Targets#J-18808-Ljbffr
