We’re looking for a number Swim School Instructors to join our dynamic team based at the Queenstown Events Centre. Whether you're looking for part-time or casual work, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to inspire and educate swimmers of all ages and abilities. What you’ll be doing / He aha te mahi You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and enjoyable delivery of Aquatic Services by providing the instruction of learn to swim services to all customers. The major requirement of the Swim School Instructor is to deliver the Pool Swim School curriculum for learn to swim and water safety. The role will involve: Supervising and instructing Pool Swim School programmes and safety skills to the community Maximising customers enjoyment of the aquatic facilities by providing friendly and helpful service, Taking all practicable steps to ensure personal safety, and the safety of others, while at work, according to QLDC health and safety policies, procedures and systems Participating in and contributing towards regular training and practice of essential Swim instructor skills What you’ll bring to the role / Ko wai to Pukeka Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an instructor and hold the relevant qualifications but if not, we’d still love to hear from you!
