ResponsibilitiesDiscuss potential solutions with customers based on expert level functional knowledge of solution domains (Telecommunications/Electrical Utilities)Develop new business, sell products, solutions and services to existing or new customers of the Smallworld line of businessEnsure Maintenance and Support renewal proposals are prepared, approved and submitted by the required due datesEnsure quotations and tenders are prepared, approved and submitted by the required due datesEfficient communication to all sales or proposal stakeholders, including the customerDevelop and maintain good customer relationships for the future growth of the companyUse the various sales tools (CRM, ERP, iBot, etc.)Prepare and deliver presentations to new or existing customersPrepare and deliver demonstrations of solution functionality to new or existing customersAssisting the customers with vendor registrations and/ or credit applicationsVetting of orders, initiate and follow up on registration of new projects on ERPFollow up on technical questions from customers and conduct regular site or customer visitsEvaluate customer inquiries and technical feasibility of projectsInterface with the Company's engineering departments regarding customer requirements and specificationsInterface with OEMs on the latest product developments in response to customer requirementsSupport development of sales and marketing materialMinimum Qualification and Experience RequiredEngineering Degree or DiplomaFunction related experience: 7-10 years relevant experience in Business Development for Specialised Enterprise Software ApplicationsDetailed Technical knowledge of Smallworld, Telecommunications and Electrical Utilities#J-18808-Ljbffr
