COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Matriculation with National Diploma/B-degree in Industrial Engineering/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or Minium 5 years related Experience in Automative Industry. ESSENTIAL SKILLS Minimum 5 years in Automotive Logistics/Industrial Engineering/Freight Forwarding Industries. Sound knowledge of logistics processes in the Automotive Industry, particularly on KOVP and Supply Chain Management. Negotiation and leadership skills. Stakeholder Engagement and Management. ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS SAP Skills Material Planning knowledge in the Automotive Industry. Power BI Reporting. ROLE: EU Liaison Material Planner for Parts ex Leipzig, Neutrabling and Direct Supply [Heater boxes and Gearboxes] Analyse S/F and A/F DOS List daily to identify shortages timeously and take action to ensure continuous parts availability for G01 and G45 series Built. Monitor vessel status to identify delays so that action can be taken to ensure that the required parts are received on time (arrange R/F or A/F of parts from Coastal Areas into plant) Monitor Train status to ensure containers are received in the depot on time and act accordingly if delays are experienced (correct Tracking Points, escalate delays if necessary) Hold weekly OPs Meetings with members of service providers (sea/airfreight) to discuss performance and work towards overall service improvement. Liaison Function Planner is the spokesman and ear in the plant for all TV-3, TX-12 interests (agent for TV-33x, TX-12x) Interface to the Material Planners TV-33x, TX-12x. Interface functions are: Support in checking for the correct transmission of weekly call-offs Monitoring and reporting of correct stock levels in plant (including the maintenance of stock level adjustments if necessary) Support in the tendering phase for new logistic Service Providers (LSPs) Support in emergency part steering (lead by material control in Germany) one step material planning Establishing a close network to relating business departments (in plant) in order to support material control Germany in any queries Establish close network with inbound transportation providers (sea-, airfreight) in order to conquer any unexpected problems timely Support in Problem solving Prioritizing Sea Freight containers Responsibility for the on-carriage of sea- and airfreight as per the agreed 1-step-material-planning process in overseas plants Support in the establishment of the Supply Chain concepts for overseas supply Support for the finance department in questions regarding the correct billing (for LSPs) Compiling reports reflecting the status of the supply chain/material supply (or parts thereof) Review internal and external service provider performance and initiate overall improvements. Monitoring of open Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASNs) and attending to them accordingly. Flexibility of tasks Important: A clear criminal record is required.
