Job SummaryYou will be working on pavement designs of roads/highways internationally as well as across the Africa region, giving you access to a variety of projects, including major projects. In addition to this, there is a requirement to be involved in project management and delivery of key projects as required by the business.Design:Skills required:Proficient in the use of pavement design software (Rubicon toolbox, cncPave)Advantageous experience with FaarfieldAdvantageous to have AutoCAD, Civil 3D design experienceAbility to do concept and detail design for multi-disciplinary projects specifically road and highway design in both the flexible and rigid pavement environmentExperience in rehabilitation design, greenfields pavement design, municipal, provincial, and national road designCalculate and compile schedule of quantitiesAssist with standard setting and be responsible for quality assurance of products i.e. drawings and reportsCompilation of tender documentation including quantities and cost estimatesProject Management:Responsibilities:Acts as Project Manager on discipline-specific projects and supports the Associate Director/Technical DirectorEnsures that project teams comply with project execution plans, project management, and BIM management plans, and adhered to throughout the project delivery processHas an excellent understanding of project delivery requirementsProvides input to the development of the budget and schedule to meet requirementsCarries out performance reviews of the projects you are working onAble to monitor and track the budget for the overall project of their specific disciplineResponsible to coordinate with the other disciplinesMinimum Requirements5 years experience.Preferred QualificationsTertiary qualification B.EngProfessional registration preferable Pr.EngWhat we offerWe will give you the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
