Key Responsibilities:- Conduct impact strength testing, resistance to chipping tests, water absorption testing, and resistance to thermal shock tests to ensure product durability and reliability.- Perform viscosity checks and quality checks of materials to maintain product consistency and quality standards.- Utilize your expertise in analytical chemistry to analyze and interpret test results accurately.- Maintain meticulous records of testing procedures, results, and observations.- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and troubleshoot quality issues.- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and laboratory protocols.Qualifications:- Diploma or National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.- Proven experience as a Quality Control Analyst preferred.- Strong understanding of impact strength testing, resistance testing, water absorption testing, and thermal shock testing methodologies.- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.- Proficiency in computer software for data analysis and report generation.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred skills:Strong communication skills (English & Afrikaans)Ability to multi-taskAbility to think analytically and criticallyGood problem solving skillsEnjoy learning and growingStrong desire to work in a laboratory setting ***Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted***
