Job Description:Management of Personnel to reduce facility downtime and improve stabilityPlan and Manage Planned maintenance activitiesManage Shift’s timekeeping to support required activitiesManage overtime according to plant requirementsControl Maintenance budget and make requisitions for Consumables & Spare parts to meet plant targetsLead, motivate, and coach artisans to achieve departmental/organizational goals and objectivesConduct employee appraisal in accordance with HR standards and guidelinesConduct disciplinary process of sub-ordinates with HR standard and guidelinesManage member planned maintenance and facility device skills developmentEnsure that Kaizens (Improvements) are investigated, and take action to achieve plant targetsCreate work activities to Rectify Facility EHS and Legal Non-ComplianceEffective feedback and develop solutions by self and with managerAny reasonable activity that may be required by the plantJob Requirements:National Diploma/BTech Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics3 -5 years’ experience in an engineering/maintenance department within the automotive industry inclusive of experience in Instrumentation, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Electrical, Mechanical and Safety.3-5 year's Supervisory Experience (Production / Operation ManagementISO Systems and Standards Knowledge.Knowledge of OHS ActComputer Literacy (Excel, Word & PowerPoint essential) Intermediate Skill levelPurchasing/ Sourcing SkillsProblem Solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with CMMS or any other Maintenance systemsExperience in Automated Manufacture EnvironmentInnovative Ideas and PlanningAppropriate Judgment and Decision MakingPrioritization of tasksThe Group Leader will be working a three-shift pattern and also ensure adequate coverage for all shifts About Michelle Tuck cc t/a Staff Solutions Staff Solutions is a bespoke recruitment agency founded in 2004,with a national footprint.
