Minimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Law, or related field; B.Com LLB preferred.Admitted Attorney to Law (preferred)Minimum of 2 years post-article experience.Proven experience working in a legal and compliance role (motor industry advantageous).In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the business.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Duties:Facilitate and provide legal advice and support to management and employees on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, employment law, intellectual property, and corporate governance.Develop, implement, and enforce compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of compliance vulnerability and develop corrective action plans.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations and update internal policies accordingly.Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed and manage relationships with regulatory authorities.Conduct training sessions to educate employees on compliance policies and procedures.Handle all legal matters and disputes that may arise for and on behalf of the company.Manage BBBEE Compliance & audit requirements, in conjunction with the verification agents.**Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted**
