Provincial Manager – Commercial and Business Insurance Job Overview Business Segment: Personal&Private Banking Promote the implementation of the growth strategy for the Commercial and Business Insuranceportfolio of Standard Bank Insurance Brokers (SBIB) in Western Cape and Eastern Cape Provinces. Management duties and responsibilities will be to focus across all channels and commercial productsin order to maximise sales growth and the retention of business in Western Cape and Eastern Cape.To promote the Commercial and Business Insurance brand within SBIB and the wider SBG, in ensuringcustomer brand and awareness, thereby leveraging off the SBG client base.To ensure that the Western Cape and Eastern Cape team competes on an equal footing in theCommercial Insurance marketplace across all major product lines and or niche offerings, whereopportunities present themselves.To oversee and manage the Western Cape and Eastern Cape team in order to achieve the team’s profitable business objectives through the execution of the business unit’stargeted activities and salesplans, across Business Banking and Commercial Banking clients. Qualifications Completed Matric Tertiary Qualification – Undergraduate degree Bcom or post-graduate managementqualification. ACII or FCII (i.e. an insurance qualification). Regulatory examinations completed for Representative (RE5) and Key Individual (RE1). Experience Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Commercial Insurance sales environment, of which at least 2 years must be in a managerial position, leading a commercial sales team.
