Candidate Requirements:A BCom in Accounting is requiredAt least 2 years of experience in an Accounting positionMust be proficient with MS Office Should have advanced excel experience (pivot table, vlookups) Must have experience using Panstrat or Microsoft Access Knowledge of Pastel is advantageous Must have excellent analysis and problem solving skillsShould be well organized, efficient and with a keen eye for detailMust be willing to work with diverse personalities in a challenging environmentShould have excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)Must be a team player and able to work with wide range of peopleKey Duties:Support Lodge Bookkeepers, administrators, managers, and directors with queries and training.Prepare and review South African lodge balance sheets, monthly journals, and management accounts.Assist with quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, year-end audits, and maintain *** tracking.Ensure accurate data extraction, complete month-end processes, and conduct variance analysis.Liaise with advisors and tax authorities, maintain fixed asset register, perform bank reconciliations, and handle ad hoc tasks.
