being dissatisfied with average performance; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed by others.Interpretation and regional implementation of the group global strategies, objectives, and actions.Manage the entity within the global group Matrix structure, while ensuring compliance with global corporate compliance and other directives, and at the same time complying with local legal and compliance framework.Business strategy development, implementation, management, monitoring, adjustment.Client development, client diversification and business growth strategies.Commercial sales and execution strategies and management.Financial strategies and management.Supply Chain and sourcing (including manufacturing) strategies and management.Pricing and Costing strategies and management.Marketing and Sales strategies and management.Formulate local strategies, objectives, and actions in order to support local sales and marketing activities for the group while at the same time achieving satisfactory levels of profit through the sale of spares and services.Implement strategies and action plans to grow the sale volumes of spare parts and services to the existing client base, as well as non group client base..Full executive management function, including leadership, mentorship, coaching, financial management, sales, marketing, commercial management, HR, project execution, operations, facilities, support, etc. of local subsidiary.Insurance ManagementManagement of all legal affairs, including contracting strategies and contracts.Ensure both sales and execution support to global group technology business units within SADC.Develop senior management and executive contacts with existing and potentially new clients.Act as liaison between SADC clients and other group departments.Human ResourcesProvide guidance, support, motivation, and leadership to all employees.Team leadership of professional and cross-functional teamMarketDo market analysis and determine future strategy.Identify market sectors for potentially new clients.Keep regular contact with clients to ensure knowledge of new projects in the industry and to enable group to propose new equipment that will suit the clients' requirements.Receive and study new enquiries.Contact relevant divisions within group and determine if potential projects would/should be followed up.Conduct site meetings with clients and assist group visitors.Ensure tender clarifications are dealt with and resubmitted to the client.Ensure accurate financial record keeping, and the continuous efficiency of financial control systems.Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and other statutory requirements.Ensure compliance with group financial accounting, control, and reporting requirements.Ensure that group SA achieves annual financial targets, including required profitability levels.Efficient and effective working capital management.Manage and control company expenditure within agreed budgets.Manage and control any foreign exchange rate risk.CommercialLiaise with the Central Legal department and ensure that any/all legal contracts entered into are at acceptable levels of risk.Lead contract negotiations with clients and suppliers, including any Order VariationConduct pricing approvals for both sales and procurement contracts.Ensure execution compliance in terms of signed contracts.Lead Commercial Project ManagementConduct contract profitability reviews.CompanyDrive company policies and procedures with regards to Quality, Health and Safety and the Environment.Ensure that a Management System is implemented, reviewed, maintained, and where possible continually improved.Determine and implement local company strategies, objectives, and actions within the parameters as set by group global.Drive the profitable growth of order income and revenue.Ensure the business is run in compliance with the Companies Act and other legal compliance as might be applicable.
