Job Description Key Responsibilities: Collaboration: Forge and sustain strong relationships with business and IT to align data modeling goals with business objectives. Platform Support: Select optimal platforms, develop analytical data sets, and design reporting environments to empower stakeholders with self-service capabilities. Architecture Understanding: Assume full responsibility for comprehending business, customer, and technology requirements, including associated risks and opportunities. Communication: Act as a data champion for CIB Client Data, ensuring high data quality and effective communication of data architecture designs. Problem-Solving: Utilize deep analytical and creative problem-solving skills to address complex business requirements and contribute to solutions. Minimum Education and Experience: BSc Degree in Information Systems or equivalent (NQF Level 7). At least 5 years of experience in a data analysis or business analyst role. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, SAS and Qlikview. Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of Excel, Hadoop, SQL, SAS, Hive. Ability to create compelling stories from data, with excellent communication and presentation skills. A comprehensive understanding of the data value chain, from data management practices to data analytics.
