Duties&Responsibilities Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions Update and maintain the general ledger Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system Recording of debits and credits Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements Monitor any variances from the projected budget Monitoring internal controls. Overseeing and preparing income statements. Managing financial transactions. Streamlining accounting functions and operations. General Filing Preparation and submission of VAT and SARS Returns on efiling Preparation of monthly management accounts for review Desired Experience&Qualification BCom Degree or equivalent MANDATORY Proven experience in finance management (3-5 years minimum experience required) MANDATORY Proficient in Pastel Evolution or similar accounting package MANDATORY Strong leadership qualities. Excellent interpersonal skills. Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals. Must have reliable commute to Sandton MANDATORY Package&Remuneration Starting R15K per month.
