Vacancy: Guest House General Manager and Event Planner Location: Bryanston The Wesley Boutique Hotel, a premier guest house known for exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and beautiful event spaces, is seeking a dynamic and experienced boutique hotel manager with expertise in event planning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a proven track record in hospitality management and event coordination. As the boutique hotel manager and event planner, you will oversee daily operations and orchestrate memorable events, ensuring the smooth operation of our guesthouse. Qualifications: Qualification in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in guest house or hotel management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Ability to commute to Bryanston (Required). Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the guest house, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. Respond to and resolve guest enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, common areas, and event spaces. Oversee the seamless check-in and check-out process for guests attending events or staying at the guesthouse. Monitor and manage guest reservations and bookings, including those for events and special occasions. Manage inventory and order supplies, including those necessary for events. Plan, organise, and execute various events, ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, ensuring each event meets or exceeds guest expectations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
