They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Account Manager to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.Key Responsibilities:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key retail accounts through personal interactions, online/telephonic meetings, and exceptional customer service to ensure both client needs and the company's objectives are met.Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and tailored marketing strategies that highlight the value of our client's products and services.Seek out new business opportunities by conducting presentations, arranging meetings, and demonstrating the unique value proposition to potential customers.Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely delivery of requested products and services.Gather and analyze customer feedback through satisfaction surveys, and communicate insights to the team to continuously improve the customer experience.Monitor and track key metrics, such as revenue and profit, for each retail account to ensure target goals are met.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to ensure seamless and consistent service delivery to customers.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and recommendations for maintaining a competitive edge.Qualifications and Experience:4+ years of experience in an Account Management role, preferably in the retail or fintech environment.Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Diploma/Degree in BCom, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field).Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in sales, negotiation, and business development strategies.Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.Advanced computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Our client offers a competitive compensation package, including bonuses, opportunities for career advancement, access to professional development resources, and a supportive and inclusive work culture that values diversity and work-life balance.
