Reports and Trade References, filing, ensuring FICA compliance of new clients and other admin related dutiesAssessment and spreading of financial statements and management accounts together with cash flow and budget projections, as well as ability to comment on these financialsPreparation of all applications to be sent to the Credit Department for approval and sourcing all relevant information from clients in this regard both for existing and prospective clientsSourcing and assessing information from clients to ensure that all terms and conditions of sanction are adhered to and that necessary periodic information is received and collated timeouslyLiaising with the Credit and Operations Departments to ensure the smooth running of the clients’ accounts with regards to risk, operation and administrative issuesDrawing up security documentation for signatureGeneral office duties as delegated from time to time, answering of client telephone calls and assisting where possible (being proactive at all times) and liaising closely with the managers of the unitBe alert to the important nature and sensitivity of the information handled on a daily basis as well as assisting with, inter alia, all Large Exposure Reports, Problem Accounts, High Care Reports, Reviews, and Client InteractionsBe prepared to stand in for the (“AE”) when they are off work or out on client visits or not in the office for any other reasonPresent any applications and /or requests to the relative credit mandateSupporting all service and sales initiatives and keeping the customer top of mind at all times.Co-ordinating Field SurveysSKILLS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIREDAmbitious with the willingness to grow into an Account ExecutiveMatric/ GR12 coupled with a Commercial Degree is preferableA high level of numeracy and accuracyFull computer literacy, particularly in Word and ExcelExperience in marketing or sales of asset, trade and debtor-based finance will be advantageous, particularly if from a banking environmentGood understanding of security documentation is advantageousExcellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skillsAble to work under pressure in a team and/or in an individual capacityAbility to work independently, use own initiative and provide effective and efficient client serviceGood organisational skillsHighly motivated with very strong inter-personal skillsCommunication skills are vital and the ability to work with people is very importantOwn vehicle and driver’s licence is essential, as the position requires periodic travelling to clientsREMUNERATION:Market related Cost to Company, based on qualification and experienceInterested applicants can forward their CV to Semonay.Wesley@sasfin.com by no later than 22 April 2024.
