The focus of this position is to plan, organise and coordinate the ordering, receiving, storing and counting of all stock for use in the Hospitals.CRITICAL OUTPUTSOrdering and receiving stockActively maintain stock management processesParticipate in monthly stock cycle countsSecurity and Quality ControlStock storage and packing according to policyRegularly check that all stock is bar codedEnsure integrity of data and that regular price updates acquired is in line with protocolREQUIREMENTSGrade 12 essentialEnrolled Nurse / Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary qualification will be an advantageMinimum 2 years’ experience as a Stock Controller in a hospital environmentComputer literacy (MS Office, AS400)Excellent communication skillsKnowledge of hospital procedures and medical terminology will be an advantageIf your personal purpose is aligned to our purpose and your values fit in with our value system, please apply.
