Job Description Our client in retail is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce/retail industry with accounts payable experience. The candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments, expenses, bank deposits and budgets. This is a 6-month contract position. Responsibilities: Be responsible for all accounting functions. Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness. Making sure all financial records comply with authority standards, and regulatory/company's policies. Be responsible for recons: monthly bank, cash collections, payroll, accounts receivables, and accounts payables. Perform the month-end financial close accounting and issue monthly quarterly and annual financial reports. Manage inventory transactions/records and conduct monthly and surprise stock counts. Managing debtors and performing timely and accurate invoicing of clients. Assist in budget preparation, implementation, and monitoring. Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external auditors. Prepare, file, and pay monthly statutory deductions and relevant taxes on time. Manage all accounting transactions. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software #J-18808-Ljbffr
