Key Responsibilities: Creatively design and plan leisure group itineraries (incentive-specific experience advantageous). Understand and apply specific requirements for group itineraries, including general group policies. Manage the reservations process, ensuring group requirements align with their budget. Maintain timely response lead times as per standard operating practices. Handle bookings from quoting to finalizing, including invoicing and travel documentation. Proactively upsell products and services to curate exceptional guest itineraries. Maintain clear and consistent communication with colleagues, agents, guests, and suppliers. Occasional travel with groups or undertake site inspections with agents and guests. Requirements: Good understanding of delivering excellent service to agents and guests. In-depth knowledge of Tourplan or a similar booking system. Extensive geographical, logistical, and product knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, and Kenya. Additional experience in Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique is advantageous. Willingness and aptitude to learn and adapt. Skills&Personal Characteristics: Strong communication skills in spoken and written English. Effective time and desk management. Ability to thrive under pressure and take initiative. Understanding of the travel industry, preferably tour operating. Meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional negotiation skills. Ability to elaborate in writing explanations or descriptions. Customer-focused mindset. Proficiency in Word and Excel. Professional and composed manner when servicing agents and guests. Independent, curious, and solution-oriented approach.
