Other Risk Management for Current BusinessOngoing management and improvement of the risk management framework for the organization.Overseeing, and in some areas, engaging with internal stakeholders, making recommendations, and implementing appropriate risk control actions.Monitoring, evaluating, challenging, reviewing, and reporting on the organization’s success in managing its risks.Assist in identifying and updating major risks affecting the operational function and guiding the Business units in identifying their key risk indicators.Monitor internal controls to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness and assist in the identification of appropriate enhancements to address identified weaknesses.Provide an effective administrative function to support the risk management function.Support the Head of Risk Management in the development and updating of risk management policies and procedures to support and guide the internal stakeholder in their risk management objectives.Conduct research when required.Compile and submit all required and ad hoc reports timeously and accurately.Assist in the maintenance of a culture that emphasizes and demonstrates the importance of effective Risk Management to all staff.Monitor and control the internal assessment process to ensure compliance to policy and procedures.Assist in the coaching of employees in the use of relevant operational risk management tools.Conduct risk assessments of the operational functions on an ongoing basis andConducting risk management training for internal stakeholdersInvolvement in the digitization of the risk tools i.e. Power BI, Exclaim etc.Involvement in the process risk management to have oversight on the frequency of process reviews, process documentation timelines and accessibility of process documents to the broader organization.Promoting risk awareness to prepare the organization for emerging risks.Executing specific deep dives or investigations to better understand the risks, problems, or incidents in the organization.Risk Management for New Business/ServiceAssess opportunities for continuous process innovation to prevent deviation trends, control gaps or to bring process efficiencies.Provide risk support to project team; assessment/assistance of/on their process, procedures and in identifying risk and controls associated.Provide risk support to project team in completing risk assessments of the new product/service offering.Perform risk monitoring for new services implementation and operationalization processes.Internal AuditContribute to potential reviews for inclusion in the annual audit plan.Responsible for facilitation and completion of assigned internal audit function reviews.Coordination of management responses across the organization for assigned reviews and reporting on the findings.Coordinating and management of organization resolution of previous findings and the closure of findings that are still open.Combined assurance forumsAssist in the preparation of the Combined Assurance Reports.Support preparations activities for the annual plan and provide input in areas of responsibility.Reporting of management assurance activities across the organization.Drafting the minutes of the Combined Assurance Forum meeting.Ongoing relationship building with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent business delivery.Delivering effective and consistent service to stakeholders.Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.Facilitate presentations to customers, staff, existing customers, potential customers and stakeholders.Perform solution demonstrations to internal and external stakeholdersAbility to provide information clearly to new customersDevelop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with colleagues, peers and stakeholders.Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional and industry k...
