Join to apply for the Sales Engineer role at Total Recruitment Solutions.Purpose of Role:Provide high level customer service related to product sales to effectively and efficiently increase sales margins in line with budget requirements and business objectives with a desire to exceed targets. Ensure quotations and orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner, as well as develop positive solutions to complex challenges.Key Accountabilities:Optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction, as well as maintain and build relationships with customers through enhanced communication and client liaison skills.Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements (CRM).Attend regular client visits, necessary to perform duties and aid business development.Read and understand technical drawings and product data sheets.Handle all aspects relating to Sales, comprising obtaining enquiries/tenders, putting together quotations and converting them to orders.Establish and maintain customer relationships and support.Provide support with queries and technical information.Liaise with Consultants, Project Houses and end users.Track and expedite orders through the system.Provide customer updates on the progress of orders when requested.Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures, as well as uphold company Health and Safety Policy.Carry out all other reasonable tasks that may be delegated from time to time.Key Skills Required:National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Experience of 4 years in engineering and 2.5 years in a professional sales role.Computer Literacy – Essential; SAP experience - Advantageous.Articulate in English with excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.Sound knowledge of company products including experience in component identification.Strong commitment to customer care and people skills.Defined Competencies:Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Problem solving, customer service, management and multi-tasking skills.Good marketing and sales skills.Ability to work under pressure.Proactive / Own initiative.Prioritise and plan time management.Accurate and attention to detail.Flexible and adaptable.Ability to work on own or as part of a team.Able to deal with staff on all levels.Seniority level:Mid-Senior levelEmployment type:Full-timeJob function:Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustries:Staffing and Recruiting#J-18808-Ljbffr
