Job Description:To provide specialist and broad technical and process service support to customers by; enabling them to convert Sasol Base Chemicals’ polymers efficiently and cost-effectively to achieve short and long term profitability for the business.(ads1)Job Responsibilities:Deliver expert solutions to meet changing business and customer requirements.Investigate and resolve process and product related customer complaints decisively and objectively.Ensure that the objectives of technical service are consistently met and meet customer requirements.Provide specialist technical and process support to customers on the use of Base Chemicals’ polymer grades and benefits thereof.Identify process, quality or efficiency problems, initiate tests, interpret results, draw conclusions and make recommendations to assist customers to convert Base Chemicals polymer materials successfully.Identify, interpret and communicate customer technical needs and requirements to M&S team as well as to other stakeholders, e.g. operating hubs, supply chain, etc.Implement advanced technical aspects of M&S product strategy at customers, e.g. grade rationalization, grade improvements, new grades, etc.Identify opportunities for significantly optimizing customers’ processes and improving manufacturing efficiencies.Job Requirements:Relevant University Bachelor’s Degree (BSc / BEng Polymers / Chemistry)6+ relevant years (Polymer or Chemical Conversion Experience would be an advantage)Continuous Process Improvement: The methodology followed for increasing the effectiveness and/or efficiency of a business process, often through automation.Decision Making: Ability to know when and what decisions should be made and to make several decisions simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Integration: The consolidated view with various parts, circumstances, legislation, landscapes or aspects linked or coordinated.Execution capability: The underlying ability to execute a strategy/project or day to day workJob Details:Company:SasolVacancy Type:Full TimeJob Location:ModderfonteinApplication Deadline: N/A(ads2)Apply Hereinstantcareers.net#J-18808-Ljbffr
