Main Purpose: To manage a store so that the brand integrity and profitability are upheld, by ensuring our discerning customers are consistently delighted.Line Manager: Regional ManagerSubordinates: All Flexi timers and permanent staff within the storeJob Specification:Key Performance Areas:To achieve the annual sales budget through meeting and exceeding daily and monthly budgets to ensure the sustainability of the businessTo manage and control the financial aspects of running the store to ensure store profitabilityTo adhere to merchandising standards in line with the brand requirements to ensure good product mixTo ensure proper stock management and control to minimise loss and to ensure product availabilityTo deliver the best customer service to ensure the best customer experienceTo build excellent relationships with all relevant service providers (internal and external)To manage human resources effectively by recruiting, planning and administrating payroll properlyTo inspire, motivate, develop and hold people accountable appropriatelyMinimum Requirements:Experience:Minimum of 5 years’ Store Management experienceMinimum of 8 years' Retail experienceExperience in working in a large retail store with a turnover of more than R 20 million per annumQualifications:Complete Matric/Grade 12Tertiary Retail Qualification will be to your advantageSkills & Knowledge:Knowledge of relevant Industrial Relations (IR) LawTo discipline staff and initiate enquiriesUnderstanding of profit and loss (income) statementsGood understanding of the retail environment and brandsAdministration and stock managementConflict managementTime managementCustomer service skillsLeadership skillsCompetencies:Delivering results and meeting customer expectationsFollow instructions and proceduresLeading and supervisingAchieving personal work goals and objectivesAdhering to principles and valuesWorking with peoplePlanning and organisingCoping with pressure and setbacksPersuading and influencingDeciding and initiating actionAdapting and responding to changePresenting and communicating information#J-18808-Ljbffr
