In this role you will be reporting to Smart Power and will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with the strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage to resolution the specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.Your responsibilitiesSelling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned product groups, establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering and aligning to provide a solutionEnsuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective value based sales techniques, communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions)Preparing sales plans and visiting reports using company tools, performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in case of potential order shortfalls, ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers, identifying and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and channelEnsuring know- how sharing and cross-collaboration, managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities when neededPreparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager, ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditionsYour backgroundPost Matric and electrical technical qualification Minimum 5 years experience in the low voltage salesMust have a solid customer base which would be brought into ABBPreference will be given to EE candidatesMore about usABB Smart Power is a global technology leader, with products and solutions that make power supplies smart, connected and protected.
