Overview Job Title: Shaft Engineer  Location: North West Hire Resolve’s Client are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shaft Engineer to join our mining team in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of shafts on our mining sites. Responsibilities: Design shafts and hoisting systems according to industry standards and regulations Manage and supervise shaft construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget Collaborate with other engineering teams to optimize shaft performance and efficiency Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure shafts are operating safely and effectively Identify and resolve any issues or risks related to shaft operations Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in shaft engineering best practices Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering GCC Mines and Works Minimum of 5 years of experience in shaft engineering within the mining industry Proficient in shaft design software and other engineering tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment Valid professional engineering license Benefits: Salary: R3m Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
