Job category: Health, Fitness, Medical and Optometry Location: Roodepoort Contract: Permanent Business Unit: Constantia Kloof Remuneration: R 764,431.00 EE position: No Introduction To interpret, analyze and investigate application requirements and to turn these into business solutions using appropriate technology resources and proven methodologies. Provides expertise on the effective use and configuration of the SAP HR modules. Provide functional support on existing and future SAP. implementations. Identifies, develops, implements and maintains SAP solutions for current and future business needs. Works closely with the other SAP, and ICT team members to ensure SANBS systems are functioning as expected while continuing to improve business processes. Key Performance Areas 2. Design system solutions and configure system changes in line with business requirements. 1.1. Translate business requirements into viable technical solutions based on requirements obtained from the business, and define and maintain technical requirements specification for approval. 1.2. Present technical specifications for approval by the line manager. 1.3. Ensure that the system data integrity is robust such that information from the system is coherent, readily available, accurate, and secure to meet the business’s information needs. 1.4. Make refinements to the prototype and obtain approval from the line manager. 1.5. Identify, analyze, and present potential system enhancements to facilitate continuous improvement (technical performance and usability). 1.6. Collaborate with ABAP Developer to ensure that the solution meets both functional and technical requirements. 1.7. Configure the existing system to accommodate changes contained in the new design. 1.8. Test configuration against the design and make refinements to ensure that the solution performs as intended. 1.9. Facilitate and support the testing process of configuration changes. 1.10. Contribute to Project Management requirements as a project resource. 2. Ensure that change management and governance processes are adhered to. 2.1. Adhere to the IT change management methodology for SANBS by undertaking the following: 2.1.1. Develop suitable technical specifications for changes to configuration, programs and systems. 2.1.2. Ensure that adequate “back out “plans are developed and in place before any new functionality is implemented. 2.1.3. Maintain configuration baseline (version management). 2.1.4. Contribute to the development of test plans for the proposed solution. 2.2. Implement system changes into live environment: 2.2.1. Liaise with vendor and Business Analyst to move on live dates. 2.2.2. Make required system changes. 2.2.3. Monitor implemented changes. 2.3. Implement and test service pack or version upgrades for the module. 2.4. Contribute to the integration test of the module when service packs or version upgrades are undertaken or when new functionality is being implemented. 2.5. Support users with user-accepting testing in alignment with business processes. 2.6. Ensure that audit findings are addressed and closed timeously. 3. Ensures knowledge, skills transfer and collaboration with to all requisite stakeholders. 3.1. On-going knowledge transfer to stakeholders (Interns, Business Analysts, SAP Support Analysts, Helpdesk Administrators, infrastructure team and system developers, SAP consultants). 3.2. Liaise with industry colleagues to improve and share skills via User Groups, Work Forums, and Seminars. 3.3. Act as the subject matter expert for designated systems and remain current on systems analysis trends. 3.4. Constantly understand the SAP roadmap, new developments and trends. 4.1. Provides 3rd-line support for incident management including incident closure. 4.2. Resolve all incidents logged with the agreed SLA with the business. 4.3. Monitor and manage incident logged to ensure adherence to SLA’s. 4.4. Identifies; tracks and resolves system problems. 4.5. Escalates system problems / opportunities to software vendor or Application Manager. 5. Maintenance of security and access control. 5.1. Provide assistance in ensuring that users have the appropriate level of system authorizations to execute their job functions without disruption. 5.2. Provide assistance and guidance to the SAP GRC Administrator with the design and configuration of new user profiles and roles. 6. User Training. 6.1 Create and maintain training content on all platforms 6.2 Training all users in SAP modules supported 6.3 Participate in roadshows to engage with users and ensure that they are using the system adequately. 1. Relevant Diploma/Degree in IT or related Business Management field (advantageous). Experience and knowledge requirements 2 years SAP HR support pack implementation experience. If SAP certified, 2 years’ experience as a SAP HR systems analyst. If not certified, 4 or more years’ experience as a SAP systems analyst. #J-18808-Ljbffr
